This session provides a comprehensive, step-by-step guide to mastering the fundamentals and best practices of workplace investigations. Rather than addressing issues superficially, we will delve into the essential dos and don'ts to ensure accuracy and legal compliance.
Key Topics Covered:
-Staffing the Investigation: Determining who should lead and support the investigative process.
-Conducting Interviews: Techniques for obtaining credible information and ensuring procedural fairness.
-Drawing Conclusions: Analyzing evidence and making legally sound determinations.
-Documentation and Reporting: Creating a thorough, defensible record of the entire process.
By the end of this session, you will possess a well-defined, robust process to confidently manage and execute workplace investigations, ensuring your organization is prepared when scrutiny arises.
